There is a group linked to Rick Warren’s PEACE plan that has a leftist, false view of reality in Israel and insists that genocide is going on in “Palestine.” Jim Fletcher of Prophecy Matters says that this is diabolical and explains further, with the promise of much more to come, here:

Though he declared that “Jerusalem must remain the united capital of Israel,” he added that “I believe with creativity and goodwill a solution can be found.”

JERUSALEM’S INDIVISIBLE POPULATION
by Chana Ya’ar (IsraelNationalNews)Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat told international media Wednesday that his city’s diverse population cannot be divided – nor can the city itself.
Even though the Palestinian Authority continues to insist that Israel give up half of Jerusalem so it can create a capital for a new PA Arab country, Barkat said the demand is simply unrealistic. “You cannot divide this city,” he told an Associated Press reporter and several others who met in his office at city hall. “I know it will never work.”
There are more than 800,000 residents in the city, including at least half a million Jews and nearly 300,000 Arabs, most of whom work together with Jews.
“Where will they work?” Barkat asked. “Show me one example of a city (divided) that continued to work….

World to Israel: Surrender before it’s too late
By Caroline B. Glick
The international community — including some Israeli pols, American Jews and the media — are pushing hard. The Obama administration isn’t making things any easier.
A penetrating analysis that considers claims against Israel’s legitimacy
http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | Over the past several years, a growing number of patriotic Israelis have begun to despair. We can’t stand up to the whole world, they say. At the end of the day we will have to give in and surrender most of the land or all of the land we took control over in the 1967 Six Day War. The world won’t accept anything less.

Muslim Brotherhood wants end to Egypt-Israeli peace deal
Egypt’s banned Muslim Brotherhood movement has unveiled its plans to scrap a peace treaty with Israel if it comes to power, a deputy leader said in an interview with NHK TV.
Rashad al-Bayoumi said the peace treaty with Israel will be abolished after a provisional government is formed by the movement and other Egypt’s opposition parties.
“After President Mubarak steps down and a provisional government is formed, there is a need to dissolve the peace treaty with Israel,” al-Bayoumi said.

MILITARY INTELLIGENCE CHIEF: ISRAEL IN AN “UNPRECEDENTED” PERIOD OF SECURITY, BUT IRAN CAN ALREADY PRODUCE A NUCLEAR BOMB
Posted: November 22, 2010Israel’s outgoing military intelligence chief, Major General Amos Yadlin, made three remarkable statements in testimony to the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, reports Haaretz:
1. ISRAEL IS MORE SECURE THAN EVER BEFORE — “The recent security calm is unprecedented,” Yadlin told the parliamentary committee. Despite emerging and serious threats from Iran and her Radical Islamic allies, for the moment Israel is enjoying a period of remarkable calm in light of the peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan, almost no terrorism emanating out of the West Bank, relative calm in Gaza in the aftermath of Operation Cast Lead, relatively calm borders for the last four years with Lebanon and Syria, and a regime change in Iraq that led to a nascent but improving democracy. “Israel’s deterrence is very strong but the lull [in regional violence] shouldn’t mislead anyone, the opposite is true. Our enemies are strengthening and arming,” Yadlin added. Does this period qualify as Jews living “securely” in the land of Israel prior to the rise of a Russian-Iranian led coalition that will launch the “War of Gog and Magog” again Israel in the “last days,” as foretold in Ezekiel 38-39? For the moment, it is, in my view, too early to draw a conclusion one way or the other, but it is certainly worth careful consideration.

TROUBLE IN THE HOLY LAND
Has Britain recognized ‘Palestine’?
Exclusive: Marylou Barry spotlights recent U.K. ‘treaty between nations’On Nov. 3, a United Kingdom government website reported that the U.K. has signed a “treaty between nations” with the Palestinian Authority.
Other than a brief mention or two on independent blogs, the media were silent until Israel National News discovered the article Nov. 5 and gave it lead-story status. Apparently, those of us on this side of the Atlantic were supposed to be – or were – still too lost in the aftermath of our midterm elections to notice. Thanks for catching it, INN.

“We Christians cannot speak about the promised land for the Jewish people. There is no longer a chosen people. All men and women of all countries have become the chosen people.
“The concept of the promised land cannot be used as a base for the justification of the return of Jews to Israel and the displacement of Palestinians,” he added. “The justification of Israel’s occupation of the land of Palestine cannot be based on sacred scriptures.”

Why Islam Will Never Accept the State of Israel
By Steven SimpsonIt is a common belief that the “Arab-Israeli conflict” is a conflict of two peoples fighting over the same piece of land and is therefore one of nationalism. Rarely, if ever, do we hear or read of the religious component to this conflict.
However, if anything, the conflict is more of a “Muslim-Jewish” one than an “Arab-Israeli” one. In other words, the conflict is based on religion — Islam vs. Judaism — cloaked in Arab nationalism vs. Zionism.

MCC urges governments to end Gaza blockade
Gladys Terichow
June 4, 2010WINNIPEG, Man. – Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is urging the governments of the U.S. and Canada to work constructively within the international community to restore the normal flow of goods and people through Gaza-Israel border crossings.
In letters to the U.S. president and Canada’s foreign affairs minister, MCC urges them to support an impartial and independent investigation into Israel’s deadly response to the Free Gaza flotilla on May 31.
The convoy, carrying 10,000 tonnes of much-needed aid, was attempting to enter the Gaza Strip by sea and break the Israeli blockade that has a devastating effect on the livelihoods and lives of Gaza’s 1.5 million Palestinians. The convoy was intercepted by the Israeli military before reaching Gaza and clashes led to the deaths of nine people.
Daryl Byler, MCC’s representative in the region, said hundreds of thousands of people in Gaza live in dire conditions without employment and basic supplies because of the Israeli blockade.

“Emergent Church” guru Brian McLaren is a key figure on the Evangelical Left who is trying shift Evangelicals, who are America’s most pro-Israel demographic, into a more neutralist stance. Currently, he is leading a delegation through Israel and “Palestine” to broadcast the sins of Israeli oppression against Palestinians by “listening, learning, thinking, observing, reflecting.” His blog is providing daily updates of his discoveries, all of which confirm his previously often declared bias against Israel….
