“The UN General Assembly approved on Thursday an Arab-backed resolution endorsing the Goldstone Report, paving the way for the matter to be sent to the Security Council,” reports the Jerusalem Post. “A total of 114 nations voted in favor of the resolution and 18 voted against it, with 44 members abstaining.”

How is it possible that Israel only has 17 other true friends in the world, out of 192 countries?

Sanhedrin to UN: Goldstone Will Bring Judgment Upon You

(IsraelNN.com) The Sanhedrin has warned the UN General Assembly not to hold a plenum debate this Wednesday on the anti-Israel Goldstone Report.

In a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and the UN’s member states, the Sanhedrin warns that continued consideration of what it calls the “hostile, fallacious, and malicious” Goldstone document will bring upon the world the catastrophic events described in the Bible’s Book of Joel, Chapter 4.

White House Middle East Waffle May Cause War, Prophecy Clock to Move Forward

The man who occupies the Oval Office (OOO) may be an instrument of end times prophecy as he waffles on his Middle East foreign policy, fueling the hot tempers of the terrorist organization said to represent the Islamists in the peace process – the Palestinian Authority. On May 28th, he met with PA President Mahmoud Abbas, telling him that Israel must stop building all settlements as a precondition for peace talks to move forward. OOO said he told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,

“I was very clear about the need to stop settlements, to make sure that we are stopping the building of outposts.”

But all that changed over the weekend and now the Palestinians are threatening war.

The Holocaust is now on Facebook

WARSAW (AP) — The memorial museum at Auschwitz has launched a Facebook page hoping that the popular social-neworking site will help it reach young people around the globe and engage them in discussions about the former Nazi death camp and the Holocaust…

It had to happen. The Holocaust is now on Facebook. From enormity into classroom discussion topic. It’s the standard modern metamorphosis. Awe has given way to science, horror to the antiseptic dissection of it. Modernity means trivialization.

Now we have Holocaust Studies. Just as we have American/Black/Jewish/Women’s/ Middle East Studies. Have you noticed? The addition of Studies to any discipline has a way of ending it as a discipline. And marks its beginning as … what? Fad, obsession, ceremonial observance, group therapy? All of the above and vaporous more?

The process is familiar by now. It happened long ago to the Holocaust. Something singular, ineffable, monstrous … is turned into nothing distinctive, quite discussable, almost cut-and-dried. The pain too deep to be voiced, all the pity and sorrow and shame and anguish have been transmuted into … what, exactly? Another pseudo-science? College major? Genocide like any other? Call it Holocaust 101.

The interest in the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple has accelerated in recent days. A video on “YouTube” shows the building of a special training center for priests who will be ready to serve in this Temple. The Jewish Sanhedrin has been reestablished and their efforts are centered in the reestablishment of the Jewish Temple.

The word “temple” is used 204 times in the Bible – 117 of those times in the NT. The words “temple of the Lord” are found 24 times, once in the NT. The words “temple of God” appear 9 times. The word “tabernacle” is used 328 times, 20 in the NT. The words “holy place” are found 60 times – 5 in the NT. The words “the most holy” appear 24 times and the words “the most holy place” another 10 times. The phrase “the mountain of the Lord” is found 4 times, and the words “the house of the Lord” occur 234 times. Other usages include “the mount of the Lord” and “the holy mount.” The word “sanctuary” appears 137 times of which 21 usages are in the last nine chapters of Ezekiel that describe a future temple of the Messiah Himself. The evidence totals up to over 1000 usages in the Bible. Isaiah 27:13 speaks of a future day when people will come to “worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”

CNN Waters Down the Israeli Response

CNN fails to provide any Israeli reaction to a flawed Amnesty report.

Utilizing the “halo effect,” whereby because of their humanitarian focus, non-governmental organizations are insulated from scrutiny and are regarded as above reproach by the media, Amnesty International has published a report accusing Israel of denying Palestinians access to water supplies.

Standing with Israel

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice said: [Re: The Goldstone Report]

“It is outrageous that a respected institution like the United Nations provides a platform to spread lies and stories about Israel.”

The Goldstone report accuses Israel Defense Forces and Palestinian militants of war crimes and possible crimes against humanity during their Dec. 27-Jan. 18 conflict in the Gaza Strip.

“The United Nations provides a stage for Ahmadinejad, who threatens to annihilate Israel, and lets him stand judge …This is nothing short of ridiculous.”

Rice promised that the United States will continue to stand by Israel as a loyal friend in the fight against the Goldstone report.

God says:

“Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, I will now arise, says Yahweh. I will protect them from those who malign them.”… “Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge uprightly among men? No, in your heart you devise injustice, and your hands mete out violence on the earth.”…“If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked.” (Psalm 12:5; 59:1-2; Proverbs 29:12).

The Jerusalem Connection says: While the trend lines of the Obama administration do not bode well for Israel, we can be grateful with respect to the scandalous findings of the Goldstone Report, we are standing with Israel. The tried and true axiom still stands,

“I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.” (Genesis 12:3).

If our blessing Israel ever turns to cursing, our demise will soon follow.

Kerry, Hagel to Keynote ‘Anti-Israel’ Dinner

Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and former Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., are among the keynote speakers slated to address the annual dinner of J Street, a controversial Israel lobby group accused of working against the Jewish state, while scores of lawmakers are backing out of the event amid news media coverage of the organization’s agenda.

Nearly 160 congressional lawmakers, mostly Democrats, endorsed the Oct. 26 dinner with some reportedly slated to attend.

The night’s speaker list includes politicians as well as poet Josh Healey, who has penned works implying Israel is perpetuating a Holocaust against Palestinians.

NEW YORK BOROUGH BECOMES “ENEMY TERRITORY” FOR CHRISTIANS AND JEWS

Bam! Bam! Bam!

It’s 3:30 a.m. in Brooklyn and Mohammad Boota, a Pakistani immigrant, is beating his barrel drum along Coney Island Avenue and Foster Avenue.

Boota, who immigrated to the U.S. in 1992 from Pakistan, is joined by other drummers, other Pakistani immigrants, as the cries of muezzins ring out from loud speakers throughout the borough.

The racket goes on every morning during Ramadan.

The pounding of the drums, Boota explains, is necessary to wake believers so they can eat a meal before the day’s fasting must begin….
