Congress raves over Israeli prime minister
Netanyahu set to make ‘compromises’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a rapturous reception worthy of a rock star from lawmakers on both sides of the political aisle on Capitol Hill on Tuesday – a stark contrast to last week’s tense White House visit.

His speech to a joint session of Congress was repeatedly punctuated by sustained applause, laughter and more than two dozen standing ovations. It also received some high praise from bipartisan admirers.

“For someone who has listened to a lot of speeches I have to say you’ve made the all-star team,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, told Mr. Netanyahu at a press conference afterward.

One Response to Congress raves over Israeli prime minister

  1. Yes it is a laugh…If I can just REPEAT part of a comment I left on your Post called “Why did Obama pick a fight with Israel’s Prime Minister?”

    >…..PM Netanyahu is the current leader of Israel so is the anointed one whom we must pray for to be blessed with the Holy Ruach Ha Kodesh (I’ve seen him asking for Rabbi’s blessings and guidance) and to make wise decisions for his country… God’s Covenant Land.

The reception in Congress has justified him… and no doubt humiliated PM Obama which won’t please him at all. Never the less… May the LORD’s will be done….<

And don't forget all those tornadoes that broke out in America… must have started EXACTLY on the date Netanyahu was getting an earful of UN Biblical instructions from you know who. Will have to look that up.

    Thanks for your informative posts.
